Comment: Air Commando Hiurlbkurt Field from 1963-1971. NCOIC Intel Ops TUOC at NKP (1969/69). Oversaw preparation of target packages, briefed/debriefed combat aircrews, and flew 87 missions over the trail as a leaflet kicker. Returned to Hurlburt and deployed on several occasions to Latin America, Ft Bragg and other locations on operational and training missions supporting Special Forces. 1971-73 assigned to Caribbean Admisisons Cnter in MIami, FL debriefing Cuban refugees. Promoted to Army Warrant Officer and became a HIUMINT Case Offier working Latin America. Retired in 1980 and served as civilian intel officer (GS-12-15) until retirment in 2000 from civil srvice. Joined CIA and worked as oprations officer throiughout Latin America for next 23 years. Retired in October 2022 and will work on writing a book re me memoirs. NKP was great assignment and I ciherishi the memories and good timel. |
